Horrible It was supposed to be new but smells moldy. I have run cleaning loads and vinegar but everything smells moldy and nothing comes out clean. My towels smelled so bad after washing that I had to buy new ones. I had an older lg washer and tried to just replace but this is awful.

This is the second one of this exact washer that I have bought in seven years. The first one just stopped spinning and it was cheaper to get a new one than have it repaired. These are decent washers with enough different settings to cover all wash loads. I particularly appreciate the Towels Bedding and Speed Wash options. That said they must be treated carefully. Many parts are plastic the printing rubs off with even a little water its not permanent and it is not especially quiet. For the money it is a good machine. It is actually the only one that would fit in the tight space in my forty-year old house so that is the main reason I keep buying it. I hope it lasts more than 7 years with the exceptionally gentle treatment I give it.

A good basic washer

I bought this about a month ago to replace my 15 year old washer that was malfunctioning. I didnt want some to the fancier gadgets or WiFi. This washer is fairly simple. In many ways I miss dials which stay set the way you like it. The defaults are always for warmer water than I would use among other things.

I bought this washing machine on October 9. Today is November 25 and LG has still been unable/unwilling to install this washing machine. I have been scheduled to have installation done four separate times. Each time they have an excuse why they cant do it that day. Ive called customer service several times. They have not permitted me to speak to a supervisor. Finally I asked To initiate a return. I was told they dont take returns after 30 days. The only reason I want to return it and purchase a machine from a company that will install it.

Beware of both this product and this company. I purchased thiswashing machine three weeks ago. Serial number 407VWEY3X252. It started leaking on load number three. It doesnt leak every time and is very random. LG sent a technician but because the technician didnt see it leaking during his visit no resolution was formed. It kept randomly leaking and they sent another technician who also could not replicate the leak because it is so random. I still have no resolution. The machine is brand new randomly leaks and LG does not seem to want to help. The leaks are now starting to damage my floor and baseboards. I guess my next step would be to contact my lawyer. Buyer beware.

I like the overall size and the flexibility with washing options.The front load is much better than the top load. The pedestal was a challenge to set up. The clothes dont spin as dry as the old LG top load washer.

The stacking kit came so late that the washer and dryer couldnt be set up and now just sitting in my living area and I cant even use this. Price dropped but 3 days after I ordered but LG refuses to offer price adjustment - some agents said to return it.

Bad choice for washer and dryer purchase

We purchased this washer and dryer and are less than satisfied. The company has been non responsive in requests for better instruction manuals in hard copy. The displays on the front of both the washer and dryer are impossible to read as they are not back lit. Impossible to read unless using a flashlight to shine on the screen. Very disappointed and they were not cheap. I recommend not purchasing.

Manual is terrible. No pictures to show what the buttons on the machine are for or do. Finally got it to wash a load of clothes but when it finished the clothes were wet enough that I could wring water out of them and cant figure out how to get it to spin. First time to use. May send it back to store. Tried to view full manual online and couldnt get into the online Manuel for the complete owners manual.

The plastic rear tub has cracked so it leaked gallons of water on my floor and the part costs more than I paid for the washer. Since it only has a 1 year warranty I have no recourse..........DO NOT BUY THIS.

Overall washer is great. It seems to clean our clothes well. The only complaint I would have about the machine is the time it takes to complete a cycle. Not related to the machine but we didnt receive our free pedestals. This would have been much nicer if they had included them due to having to bend so much to get clothes in or out

I purchased a new stackable washer and dryer from LG. I bought them to replace LG washer and dryer that were 16 years old. The models I bought are the exact same size as the models they were replacing. LG would not allow the installation company to use the existing stacking kit in spite of the fact that its the exact same size. That led to a week delay for installation. Then the next installation company came and said they couldnt install the washer and dryer because it didnt have a vent that LG approved. I already had LG washer and dryer that LG installed before. So now I still am without a washer and dryer connected Its been over three weeks since I purchased.

We had a 30 year old basic top-loading washing machine that served us well but the cost of the latest repair didnt make sense anymore and we made the jump to a front-loading model recommended by Consumers Reports. The delivery was quick the installation went without a hitch the old machine was hauled away at no extra cost and the new one while looking fancy turned out to be very easy to use. Weve only had it for a short time but so far so good.

First washer Ive ever owned. Lasted a little over a year. Washer will not properly clean the clothes. Ive used the setting where I had extra rinse and Ive done three washes in a row. The washer sometimes runs and then gives an error code and then I have to start over. I am looking to replace it already with another brand or a better model.

Some good problematic things

This washer does some things which I dont understand. Its wash cycles rinse cycles seem too short even if I extend them. Also after rinsing the clothes dont smell clean. Could this be because it rinsed too thoroughly or because it didnt rinse long enough. Its not the cleanness of the washer or its rubber gasket. It gets wiped down after each cycle door is always left open. One fantastic thing about the washer is the way it dispenses bleach. It does it evenly does not leave bleach spots. I tried it on dirty whites colored towels.

Drum Stinks

Ive had my machine almost two years. It has a terrible smell than no one seems to know what to do with it. It smells like maybe a washcloth got stuck and is mildewed. I called Sears service and it was just a rip off as they came out without the hose I said it needed because I had damaged it trying to find the source of the stink. $ 129 wasted. Nothing can be found removing the drum to drain hose. Possibly something in between the drum and the drain pan? There are no accesses to the outer part of the inner drum. The cost to disassemble it and try to find the source is about the cost of a new one. I had an older LG Washer for over ten years and moved it to four different homes in four different states and never had a problem. I hate to pay for a new washer just because it stinks. The machine works fine.

The first time I used the machine it vibrated so bad and was so loud. I called the store and then LG. They are making it difficult to give me a solution. A repairman came and problem continued the next day. It error messages on delicate cycle. This machine is brand new. Whats up with this?

I bought this washer in August of 2024 and am loving it My clothes comes out clean the washer takes less water and detergent than my old washer. Also takes less time to dry because the washer spins it drier than my old washer.
