Steep Learning Curve With Plenty of Tools to Excel

My old electric oven was very basic circa 1990 with actual metal coils inserted into each burner and a standard oven with a broiler. I never had enough burners half of them worked and an imprecise oven temperature. By comparison the new LG electric oven has many bells and whistles some of which I have not had the opportunity to try after a month and its August not exactly the best time to turn on an oven. To date I have not tried the stove bridge remote cooking unclear which brands can be used sous vide or convection oven feature. What to know upon installation: 1 Purchase a three-prong range cord prior to delivery 2 Read the manual cover to cover lots of important details features and tips plus excellent supplemental LG youtube videos 3 The strove knobs are VERY easy to accidentally turn on familiarize yourself with the lock feature 4 Wifi feature is easy to connect though I have yet to discover why I need this feature. Feedback Likes - Excellent manual and supplemental videos I am a beginner-intermediate cook - Easy to read screen and knob - Excited to use all of the burners and stove features when cooking a large meal. - Like the pull out rack feature. - Like stove lock feature because the knobs are incredibly easy to accidentally turn on Dislikes/Recommendations - The knock on light seems like a gimmick wouldnt pay extra for that feature - Airfryer feature is ineffective even after removing all of the racks as instructed the air flow isnt targeted enough to airfry. Stay with a countertop airfryer

I am so amazed by the stove. I will happily give up my other stove. This stuff is state of the art. It looks amazing it is top-of-the-line. I love all the features I switch from gas to electric so it took a little work however it is amazing. It was worth the switch and the extra effort I would highly recommend this product way to go. LG.

This is a very nice range. This is the 1st time I have had 5 burners and it is wonderful. The bridge burner option is so handy. I love the fact that I can make pancakes using my double burner griddle pan and the entire area is useful instead of the middle part staying cold. I love the air fryer option within the stove. Our counter top air fryer was never quite large enough so this has worked perfectly. The stove top itself has been very easy to clean and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. Connecting to the app was easy and will be very useful.

Words can not describe how happy we are with this selection of stove The assembly was a breeze hook up and go . We were able to replace all countertops kitchen appliances such as air fryer and toaster because we have all the features on our stove . The royal blue inside is so easy to clean and wipe down . The top heats up FAST and keeps constant temperature at the correct setting its on . Preheat is fast and ready to go in minutes. We will definitely be sticking with this brand and line to replace our other household appliances.

We purchased this about a month ago from a local retailer. The range was way above above our budget but we happened to notice a floor model that was deeply discounted because of some superficial shipping damage to exterior sheet metal. Realizing that we had the capability of making the repairs we took the opportunity to own a premium range at a price within our budget. To keep the glass top in pristine condition we are taking care to avoid dragging a pan over the surface - unlike our old coil burner stove that we could be more rough with. So far the range works beautifully and we are delighted with the features. The oven controls are especially easy to use and with the LED temperature indication we know exactly what conditions are inside a major improvement over our previous range. We did not receive a discount to provide this review.

Waiting for the repairman 4/29/2023

This LG was the final piece to my renovated kitchen and I was very excited to purchase it. I currently have had it for 18 months. I am the last one to complain about anything but this is a danger to my family and my mental state This is my first front knob stove and I will never purchase this style again. The knob design is flawed. They are very sensitive and they activate too easily that even my dog has turned it with his nose We have had two minor stove fires the right knob was broken seven months after purchase and then the left knob breaks 5 months later. The panel has shorted out two times as well. LG says to lock the stove top when not in use.....come on really? Then this week the oven knob breaks. I literally have had the repairman here three times each time because they ordered the wrong part. Three additional knobs had to be tightened from loosing from the brace today. In addition the front stainless steel bar and the stovetop scratch easily.

We are very happy with this range except for the fact that it is so easy to accidentally change/turn on the burner knobs which are on the front of the stove top. This is usually done by leaning over the range or standing to close in front of it. Wish there was some solution to this problem. And the markings for these burners are hard to read from a standing position. We do perform the lock function when we are not using the range. That is a very handy feature. We love the air fry oven option. We have only played around with the Sous Vide option. The Quick Clean oven feature is pretty handy. Our only regret is not getting a model with burner knobs on the rear.

If you buy you are going to be disappointed with the glass top. After using one time requested help about a dull color on one area of the glass. LG saying that is a cosmetic issue not cover under warranty They gave recommendations of how to clean the top glass after use and to remove the problem spot. Have 22 years experience with a glass stove and never a problem like this. Expensive stove but poor quality glass. Very difficult to clean. Are you having same problems. Feel is a defect.

This is a beautiful range was a little disappointed out of the box it was 55 degrees too hot it has been calibrated now and seems to be almost perfect on accurate temperature. Oven temperature really should have been calibrated at the factory before shipping to customer. LG customer service was not the easiest to work with to get a repair person out to get it functioning at the proper temperature. Customer should not have to trouble shoot a brand new appliance.
