We got this fridge in December of 2022 I love this fridge But and here are the buts. Right now we are getting warnings from the LG app saying freezer temp is danger and its not ice makers plural are not making as much ice. Probably from the warnings from above. Great capacity

Had to replace an 12 year old LG and was glad to see the same quality in my new LG. Love the way everything thing fits into the refrigerator. Drawers and shelfs are the right size for everyday used items. The freezer has an upper shelf for small items and the added ice maker keeps us supplied all summer long.

A bit disappointed

Beautiful but flawed 6/13/2023

I thought I was upgrading when I purchased this fridge but am a bit disappointed. I do like how it looks and love the black stainless steel but there are a couple of annoyances. First off it kept having an extreme amount of frost in the ice bucket in the freezer. I contacted LG and at first they told me it was a normal thing created by warm air when we open the drawer. I let it go then a month later we couldnt even use the ice because it was all frozen together from the frost then we realized the seal on the drawer was bent and would stay open. I contacted them again and and showed pictures yet they asked a million questions over several days until I got I finally got upset which is when they finally sent someone over and they fixed it. The doors slam close no matter how soft we shut the doors. That is my main complaint. They just slam so hard that things rattle inside. The door ice has had a few jams as well and we need to dig the ice out or open the whole ice compartment to clear it. Its a beautiful fridge but not perfect.

Needs some adjustment

I had bought this same refrigerator 1 year ago and loved it. After moving we remodeled our kitchen and I bought the same fridge because I liked it so much in the other house. This one has a bit of a problem. When I have it set at 33 and -3 the temps are 38 and +1. I had a service person come out and check it and he said it was within L.G.s specks and there was nothing he could do. The indoor icemaker sometimes clogs up because the temperature is too high in the fridge. I will keep an eye on it and as soon as anything changes I will again notify L.G. of the issue.

My LG experience

I bought my LG on 4/6/23. Within a week I had a problem with frost build up in the freezer compartment. I took 3 tries before I could get a technician out to check my refrigerator. The technician said the seal on freezer was wasnt sealing. He used a hair dryer to fix it said it should be ok going forward. That was on 4/19/23 today is 5/1/23 my freezer has frost again.

Great Size for a Counter Depth

We love the refrigerator so far. The size is much roomier than initially thought. We are a little disappointed with the condiment trays on the doors but have learned to rearrange and all is good now. The black stainless finish is beautiful. We have had a few issues and LG has been responsive to address these. The freezer draw is not closing properly but should be an easy fix. The water filter needs to be replaced because the vendor that installed the water line used the wrong type of line. So we will see how the water tastes after the new filter arrives. The only complaint - it would be nice if the water/ice face was back-lit so my husband could see the various options.

Loved the fridge up until it died. The water / ice dispenser shorted and caused the fridge to stop working. Luckily it was under warranty and an LG associated repair shop was able to order the part.

Very Happy with this Fridge

I really like the spaciousness of this fridge and how easy it is to see everything without moving everything. I have added a few clear plastic bins to organize everything - so it makes it even better I really like the way the bins on the door dont make any contact with the items on the shelves.... this was not the case with my last fridge. I went from a 20-year-old side-by-side to this French door style and absolutely love it

Great fridge

Weve had this refrigerator for over a year and are very happy with it. Our kitchen is small so a counter depth fridge was a must. Having the French doors makes it feel more spacious and the pull out freezer down below is vey convenient. The air and water fillters are easy to replace. The ice maker is great provides options for cubes or crushed. I love that the cubes are small and it does a good job crushing. One feature that I was happily surprised it had is an additional ice maker in the freezer All in all we have been very happy with this refrigerator.

Counter depth and a great design.

I love this fridge. The counter depth is the way to go. Certainly has plenty of room for me. The french doors are really nice but it can be a bit annoying to have to open both in order to pull out the meat drawer. That said 5 stars for design and features.

Purchased this refrigerator a little over a month ago. Would not get the main compartment below 42 degrees. On first service call the tech determined it was the evaporator fan. However LG sent out the fan and a compressor and a coil. On the second visit the tech replaced the compressor but the temps did not go down. On the third service call he replaced the evaporator fans in the freezer compartment. It is working somewhat better but still wonder for how long. Im running the freezer a degree below normal and that seemed to help. Certainly would not buy this brand again.

After having this fridge for a week I noticed there was frost building up in the top of the freezer thought maybe the 2nd ice maker was out. Come to find out the door seal to the freezer wasnt tight enough and letting the cold air out. Still waiting on someone to contact me about this issue - been a couple and havent heard from anyone. Other than that I like the fridge.

I Bought Two

Just moved into a new house and this is the second LG fridge Ive purchased from Home Depot. First one was excellent. This one however not so much. I love the color but the fridge has a small dent in it the install was terrible. The freezer seal didnt seal properly resulting in my freezer frosting over. Getting warranty assistance is a NIGHTMARE. LG is difficult to contact and the first couple of repair people declined the work order and the last one did an excellent job. Getting help just should not be this difficult.

Ice maker

Ice maker is horrible It takes forever to make a small amount of ice. I have reset it every few days. Still no good. I have resorted to buying ice cube trays so I have ice. CANNOT recommend this type of refrigerator to anyone. Looks good but does not work well. I bought a kitchen full oF LG appliances. Will not do that again

LG would not replace the front of freezer door

We bought this refrigerator and after several attempts to get the other appliances installed. My husband had to install the other appliances himself. As he had to sit on the floor he noticed the dent. We called LG and they rudely told us it would not be covered because it was over 7 days. We were very unhappy with LG.

I have had this fridge for a few weeksso far everything works as it should. Connecting tito the WiFi was a real snap and the smart app works great. I was a little hesitant at first because of the previous compressor problems. Being the company they are should have solved the problem.It is the quietest refrigerator I have ever heard.. We have and still have 4 LG appliances in the past and today.

Great Refrigerator for the Price

We got this a few months ago and I do like it for a counter depth refrigerator. We have only had one issue and that is the duel icemakers. The top one gets stuck sometimes and the bottom one stops making ice on some days and then it starts up again.

I bought this refrigerator almost 5 years ago. The compressor failed and a new one installed. Compressors should have a longer life span or coverage. Good thing a had the extended warranty plan.
